i use ms paint, gimp doesnt seem to have even the pencil tool :lol:, but i use gimp for other types of sigs..

gg OWNZ PAINT you can blend the shadows so much together and easier to work with. 100 KICKS TO PAINT.

yeh i hate gimp, (confusing) i just ms paint cuz im a pixel noob and dont wanna spend money

I liked Gimp :cry: ... Though confusing at first, I sat down and learned the basics... I think anyways :|. Still trying to figure out how to make animations though...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Well in my opinion its somewhere between Photoshop and MS paint.

There is a pencil tool in gimp, lol.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It's not as user friendly as other programs, yes, but it's still free and still powerful when used properly. Sit down and learn to use it, you get the hang of it, trust me.

You make animations by making what you what to happen in a new later then saving as a GIF, use the 'save as animation' option when saving, and I'm sure you can figure it out from there. If you want more detailed instructions, PM me and I'll help you out.

You don't really want to play with pixels in the GIMP, I fiddle with pixels in paint. Theres just too much other stuff around to get in the way.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For animation make multiple layers in the order you want them to happen and save as a gif.
