mcneilp
okay, my friend says that he uses the on screeb keyboard when typing in his rs pass as he says it means if he has a malicious virus such as keylogger, it wont pick up the mouseclicks so his pass is still relatively safe. Does this work? Can anyone shed any light on this subject, thanks ! hatebringer
well keyloggers pick up keystrokes, and not mouse clicks just so you know, and the on-screen keyboard workings just fine, if you are unsure that you have a keylogger, just use that, although i wouldn't suggest playing RS until you are sure it is gone. to find the on-screen keyboard, open you internet window, then go to Start>Programs>Accessories>Accessibility>On-screen keyboard, and the keyboard will be displayed on your screen, so you can type, although at a much slower rate, with out using keystrokes 99 Fletching 99 Attack 99 Constitution 99 Cooking 99 StrengthGamertag: H8tebringer

ShadowSam19
some keyloggers take screenshots every mouseclick for this very reason, so I wouldn't be too dependent on it. Just follow the old saying: "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." and you'll be fine.
nomar04
Some keyloggers can't recognize the on screen keyboard, and some can. It is not 100% safe, but it can help, depending on the actual keylogger you have. Your best bet is to get good anti virus scanners, and a firewall. I suggest AVG free, or Avast! antivirus. They both constantly run, and you have a very low risk of getting a virus if you keep them up to date.
