I searched around a bit and couldn't find any help on woodcutting. I want to know what everyone's suggestion is to level my woodcutting to 99 on. :-s

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I'm currently level 90 woodcutting and F2P. I have leveled my woodcutting from 60-90 on yews alone. I don't plan on becoming P2P any time soon, so that's out of the question. -.-

 

 

 

I'll simply be wielding a rune wc axe =P

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have heard that willows are good to power level on. If that is your opinion, please state where and why :D Same goes for yews.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The reason I ask this I because although the price for yews is rising, I need to cut maybe 40k of them. Though willows aren't any better, as the price is stable yet I'll need to cut twice as many if not more.

Willows. Quick respawn, several trees. Benefits you after cutting by burning.

Willows. Just like twr_phr33k said "Good for Firemaking in the end"

If you cut willows at rimmington: there are less/no autoers there. No bank, so burn them right there for FM exp or sell them to the general store for a smaal amount of gp.

as you said.. the price of yews are rising, so cut them if you need some quick cash. you don't need to cut yews all the way to 99, just cut as much as you feel like and switch back to willows if you want faster leveling.

If you really want level go to willows not yews :mrgreen:

In rimmington, well south of, just behind the witches house is a bunch of trees, very good spot, barley any people show up. Also, you can burn a straight line of logs here without trouble.
