ultimate f2p pure guide =]

Ive reviewed probally 5 other guides and they seemed like they gave sufficiant information

 

 

 

so i thought id come to the rescue =D.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

well, theres plenty of different pures, but in this guide im only going to discuss str/range/mage hybrids.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

lets begin.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

okay so you just got back from tutorial island, time to get all the items you need to make a pure strength hybrid.

 

 

 

these pures usually have anywhere from:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

40 att

 

 

 

60-99 str

 

 

 

40-99 range(very smart for dhide)

 

 

 

25-59 mage(25 is a must have for teleporting to varrock, makes it very quick.)

 

 

 

1-32 pray, in my opinion prayer is useless in f2p

 

 

 

1 def

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

get every scimmy from iron to rune, you can buy iron through mith in al kharid but addy and rune you buy from players.

 

 

 

now get about 1k trout, and alot of lobsters, alot lol. couple sets of full iron also.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

after you get the basic items for now, go train at the goblins in the goblin house right outside of lumbridge.

 

 

 

its usually best to do it around night time so it aint really packed.

 

 

 

train attack and strength to about 20 here(both of them)

 

 

 

then head over to the s.o.s and train on the monitors ( dont know how to spell them..) till about 40 str and att

 

 

 

then you should be feeling pretty good about yourself, the boredoms over, time to start maxing out your strength, eh?

 

 

 

head down a level in the s.o.s and start killing flesh crawlers (past the little maze thing withe zombies and whatnot).

 

 

 

this is where you will train for the wrest of the time most likely, so get cozy. =]

 

 

 

you wont need to train your attack at all anymore so just stick with strength

 

 

 

also pick up the body runes, they'll come in handy. (i pick up the bottom half pieces to the scepter to, i got over 500 XD)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

now time to get your range up..

 

 

 

youll probally want to start once you get level 30 or so, if your going to be a hybrid, but if your going to be a range pure, keep it 10 levels higher than strength, which youll keep 10 levels higher than attack atleast.

 

 

 

okay

 

 

 

so first off, buy about 20k iron arrows and this will last you a LONG time =].

 

 

 

then go buy every bow up to maple, leather bodys, leather chaps and studded chaps.

 

 

 

now time to go to the goblin house again!

 

 

 

you can stand behind the little wall and range the goblins till about 30 ranged and forget about the arrows if you can spare it

 

 

 

but if you cant, just range them behind the roast thing. =]

 

 

 

once you hit 30, back to the monitors, =[. its so boring there, I know.

 

 

 

from 30 to 40 i just power trained to get out of that hell hole, i didnt pick up any arrows.

 

 

 

but its all your choice, just take your gear, and a teleport and lobs, youll be good.

 

 

 

so now your 40 ranged..

 

 

 

now back to the flesh crawlers!

 

 

 

your gonna get to know these things reeeaaall good.

 

 

 

train here till your about, 55-60 range

 

 

 

then theres this little safe spot on the very last level of the s.o.s where you can range ankous, its a very good training spot, unknown too.

 

 

 

train here from here on out to 99.

 

 

 

if you get bored there, you can always go to the caged lesser demon in wizards tower, alot of nice pures there to meet.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

now, time for the mage section..

 

 

 

theres 2 ways you can go here

 

 

 

you can either add this with your hybrid..

 

 

 

or just make a TANK MAGE! woot lol

 

 

 

theres about no profit in this, but its pretty fun.

 

 

 

first off, you could buy enough minds to 59 mage, this is boring but also cheap, this is for if your a tank.

 

 

 

the main method for a hybrid, is to use curse.

 

 

 

thats why i said pick up the body runes, they'll come in handy..

 

 

 

a smart thing to do is use those, and just buy waters/earths and a earth/water staff from a mage shop.

 

 

 

then curse the zamorak guy in varrock castle, this will take a long while..

 

 

 

but if you dont want hp and want to do this very cheaply, its a good idea =].

 

 

 

but if you want hp, just do the mind rune method. pretty cheap to.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

okay so time to pk right?

 

 

 

well, theres alot of pures in f2p, pjers, and noobs.

 

 

 

seriously, f2p wilderness is infested =S.

 

 

 

but.

 

 

 

one of the most common pking methods is range/2h pking..

 

 

 

but pure melee pkers are fairly common to, they use a rune scimmy and 2h

 

 

 

pure rangers, good from about 40 to 50 or so, around level 60-70 they dont stand much of a chance.

Not too bad, although i would ask you to work a little harder on it, as i am going to need some competition if i am ever going to put my guide back up.

 

 

 

If you could add a (legal) way to get all this money you suggest spending that would be helpful. And remember, a picture speaks a thousand words. One or two pictures would then double the size of your guide! =)

 

 

 

It would also be nice if you ran your guide by a spell checker. Its not the worst I've seen, but it would help all us readers out a little bit.

Not very good spots to trian at the levels you stated imo
