Lemurian
I have 60 Agility and a 5-6 Agility Pots. Can I do the quest if I pot up before the hard obstacles? Owner of Quest Cape since 11/9/2007 23:30! Working my butt off to get it back.
Mstrgmr
Yes you can, but the handholds will probably take a few tries to get across even with pots Joined RS2: Late May/Early June 2006100 Combat achieved on June 30, 2007 All skills 60+ achieved on August 22, 2007 Quest Cape achieved on September 8, 2007, at 104 CombatCheck out my blog to 85 Slayer! Lemurian
Are the handholds the only hard obstacles? EDIT: And how many times to I have to cross it? Owner of Quest Cape since 11/9/2007 23:30! Working my butt off to get it back.
Mstrgmr
Yes, the rest of the quest was easy for me Joined RS2: Late May/Early June 2006100 Combat achieved on June 30, 2007 All skills 60+ achieved on August 22, 2007 Quest Cape achieved on September 8, 2007, at 104 CombatCheck out my blog to 85 Slayer! Guest Kickpointy
I bet the whole quest with no agility pots and 60 agility. the handholds were the only hard thing, you cross them twice.
mario_sunny
Even with an agility potion and 60 agility the handholds will be a REAL pain. I failed the first one 12 times before I finally made it, the second one was just luck with the second try. Even then I only had 67 agility. By popular demand, this signature is back- however I currently do not have a blog up at the moment and if I did I wouldn't update it. Sorry, the sig links to nowhere :( . pulli23
at 71 no agility pots it took me the first time 5 runs and the second time 13 runs.. miracly i didn't fail on the way back of my first run ;p (while it's even usefull to fail there then, since there are less monsters actually downstairs) First they came to fishingand I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing Then they came to the yewsand I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews Then they came for the oresand I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak out for me. Lemurian
Managed the first one without pot, have to do second in the next step. Should be able to do it. Owner of Quest Cape since 11/9/2007 23:30! Working my butt off to get it back.
meol
Yes, you'll be fine with the pots at that level. Just bring some food. This signature is intentionally left blank.
EugenyG
Keep in mind that the weight of your character makes a HUGE difference. With 59 agility (no pots), I failed 14 out of 14 times to scale the obstacles when wearing proselyte armor and some other stuff (I had melee protect 100% of time doing quest, using a LOT of prayer pots and a holy wrench). Then I said screw it, went to the bank, changed for monks robes, put as much as I could in bank, and succeeded on first try (and second round was just 1 failure before success) Live free or die. First option is exhausted, so guess what remains?
