at what smith lvl do i start making good money (other then c bals) and how?

there's no absolute level which means you make a lot of money from smithing :)

 

 

 

It all depends on your method as some as very profitable while others can cost millons.

 

 

 

However, at 86 smithing i have heard rune axes can be very profitable to make

I would say steel bars are the best way just get a full inventory and stand outside a busy POH portal they sel for 5k each

Bleh I make allot more money mining rune then making it into an axe. I thin k the real money and smithing xp starts rolling in when you hit lvl 92: rune kites.

 

You can make those for aprox. 40-42k when you buy your bars and sell them at aprox. 45k to merchanters who sell em for 50-55k.

Smithing is a skill which was once full of profit, but has since died more or less.

 

 

 

Cannon balls are the best way to make money from them. Other things just aren't consumable, so there is no great demand. They sell the ores/bars for FAR to much to make money off of smithing... :(

Well since bolts are still in demand you can smith those. Buy or make your own bars and buy the feathers. Not bad exp and cash.
