Greetings, fellow Tip.it-ers! Here I am again, with this crazy idea: write a guide on how to pronounce every RS word that you could possibly want to say. Obviously, I'm not going to go through RuneScape and find every single word that isn't in an English dictionary, that would take years. But I will start with words that I myself find intriguing, and will accept submissions for others. Note that each beginning letter will be in a "spoiler" window to help cut down on loading time for the page.

 

 

 

Explanation of notations: a syllable in capital letters means that it is the strongest stressed syllable of the word, while a syllable with an apostrophe ('), used only in words with 4 or more syllables, is the secondary stress. Since I don't know the ALT-codes for different expressions of vowels and such, I will be using only the 26 symbols of the modern English alphabet.

Well, technically, we don't. But there aren't that many ways to pronounce a word, even if it is made up, so we have a pretty good guess.
