I REALLY need an achievement cape. My stats are in my sig and I have about 30 quests left including Mourning Ends 1 and 2 and Swan Song.

well... you don't "need" a skill cape, but they are nice to have, and if you don't have a ton of money, just get a non-buyable 99 skill, like fishing mining woodcutting, or a melee skill like atk-strength-defence-hits-slayer. but if you go for a non buyable, you will probably come out with lots of cash, like 99 fishing will make you a ton of $$, woodcutting as well, and mining if you bank all the ores.

I actually think I do need one I'm almost 100 combat :(. Also I'm wondering what the quickest 99 for me to get would be or if it would be the quest cape.

well quest cape is probably easier to get, but you need to maintain it, but just so you know, i have a lv 115 friend that has no skill capes at all. he also says he has no plans of getting one, and will just have the 99 stats

I didn't get a skill cape till 99 attack at 116 combat, you don't need on at all.

Alright maybe I dont physically need one, but the point is, I think by my level I should have one, or be getting one soon.

Fletching. Makes money as is easy to get. Oh and its more rare than the cooking cape.

Since by stating your current monetary situation, you acknowledged that you are open to the possibility of buying a skillcape, why not go with firemaking? I've seen a guide in the PMG section about buying 99 fm with 1.8m, why not try that? Or woodcut your way to 99 and trim the cape with the exp you get from burning the logs.
