First, most monsters will stop auto-attacking you after about 10 minutes or so.

 

 

 

Second, you can look at the Tip It bestiary for al sorts of Monster information.

The general rule of thumb for aggressive monsters is 10-15 minutes, and I think it's the same everywhere (including wildy). And remember that the map does not necessarily have to change for it to be a new area. For example, there is a place in the hellhound chamber in the Taverley dungeon where the monsters won't cross a certain line, even when attacking you. If you are on one side of that line for 9 minutes, cross it even one step, and go back, you have to wait at least another 10 minutes before the monsters on your side of the line stop attacking.

i think i heard somewhere, monsters will stop attacking you when your double their combat lvl + 1 :-k
