tbh it doesnt really look like a star as such... more like a 'ball' of lightning (which you can of course get irl)

yeah i know, but if you make it look kinda distant, with another star and put some more lightning between them like a double star, it could eb something nice :D

Mmmm... No offense, but I think that you went too standard. You can make that "lightning-cloud" effect in like 20 seconds with Photoshop. All you did (or so it seems) was made that, and then wrapped it around a sphere.

;) i dont really care about that, but it isnt how fast it is made, its originality and beauty i think, some people can do things ultra fast and still make it look good, like bob ross, he makes beautifel paintings in like 20 mins, i couldnt do that in 4 hours....

What's the point in posting a 1 Meg but BAD quality pic when you could post a resized one, around 200k big with better results ?
