I want to send a cash order and put it in the mail, but i dont know what stamp i need to use. Im canadian(ontario), so any1 know which stamps i should buy?

I suggest going to your local post office and ask, most of the time they're nice people working there that will gladly help (others are well... others).

I've gotten members by Pay By Cash alot of times and all you gotta do is ask them "What stamp should I use to send this?" then show them the adress your sending to them they'll put the stamp on and tell you how much it is.

Well i live here in Calgary (alberta) and if i wanted to send anything to the states you need to get a Internation stamp here at the psot office its $1.15 not sure on prices there where you live

it cost .93 cents to mail a LETTER to the USA so two .51 Cent Stamps covers it as that equals 1.02 cents theres no way around it! they dont sell 10 cent stamps or anything else just 51 cent stamps

 

 

 

and if you thought about your problem you could have used the internet and typed

I still recommend paying the extra 4.50 and getting a money order to send to the toronto address, i sent 1 3 weeks ago to virgina and it still hasn't been processed

 

 

 

another reason is that if your CASH gets lost in the mail the cash is gone, a money order can be taken back with your copy, and the reciept and replaced for the Amount Printed on the Money Order

My problem isnt the stamp money, ill spend up to 5 on that if i have to. I just needed to know what kind, so I guess illsee about international stamps, since they prob would work anywear. How many do i need? yousort of confused me with the letter

Er, it doesn't matter WHERE you're sending something to. You use CANADIAN postage no matter what the destination. You don't put other countries' stamps on letters being mailed FROM Canada. The only thing that changes when you're mailing to a destination outside the country is the amount of Canadian postage you need to put on the envelope.

 

 

 

To send a regular-size envelope to an address in the US, you'll need to put 0.93 cents (plus tax) in postage on your envelope. For international destinations (like the UK), the cost is $1.55 (plus tax). Just take your sealed envelope to the Post Office and pay the amount they tell you - they'll add the postage.

I suscribe this way all the time. Just go to your local post office and ask for your letter to be sent to the us, they will charge you the stamp/postage/whatever (Quebecian so not sure of english word for it ^_^) and send it. Last time it costed me 1.03$CAN for it
