August 14, 200718 yr I'm not 100% positive, but 4-6 steps sounds right. Get your range up, dragon hide + protect melee is the the best option. Otherwise you're asking for a early death. August 14, 200718 yr Choose a quiet world, and don't draw attention to yourself. I use canoes to get deep into wildy. As it is, you should be fine. Not sure how many steps it is

August 14, 200718 yr Well, you should edit your posts in the future instead of re-posting, however: Getting the range will be slower IMO, but it will be beneficial to you in the longer run. Having the clue will help drive the goal, and so you should be better/more willing to complete it :D You might just get a clue which needs 50 range again, so be careful if you drop it : Maxed since Sunday, January 9th, 2014Completionist since Wednesday, June 4th, 2014
August 14, 200718 yr I had that clue and was also at 30 ranged. it drove me to get level 50. unfortunately, the reward was worthless. and I've never had a level 3 clue with fewer than 6 steps.
