woopidoo2
Yesterday I went to a lady who has alot of cats, she breeds them and she sells them. (Some for over 500 Euros or 670 dollars) She heard that I like to make photos, so this would be a nice practice for me. She had cats that were 2 weeks old, but I only have one photo of those because they only slept :) Alot of these photos are manipulated, it just looks alot better with a bit of manipulation. These 10 are the best out of 80+. I would be greatful if you could tell me what I need to improve. [Original photo] ^ I was too lazy to search for a tutorial to do this, so I tried it myself. I do see some mistakes, like the orange dot at the left eye.^ [Original Photo] The upcoming 5 photos are unmanipulated. She said it would be great if I would come back in 4 weeks, because the small cats at the first photo will be at their best then. (Like running, playing, falling when they try to wash themselves, etc) Post away! [http://woopidoo2.deviantart.com][Tip.it Moderator from Dec 10, 2006 to 03 Sep, 2008]

navyplaya
They're pretty good, the last one being my favorite, I love the lighting as well as the positions of the cat and other objects. In the first one, I would have angled it differently so that the flowers weren't right behind the cats, it just takes away from them. In the other ones, try to not have the cat in the dead center of the photo each time, i.e. rule of thirds. And in the sixth one, the branches in the foreground take away from the background. As I said, I love the last one, and the other ones are pretty good as well. Navy -All sigs by me.[My Gallery]
woopidoo2
In the first one, I would have angled it differently so that the flowers weren't right behind the cats, it just takes away from them. Navy At that photo, I edited the hand out of the photo. about the half of the white piece at the right was covered by a hand :) And if I didnt center the photos, I could have had alot of space that had nothing to do with it, the cats were in the backyard. Thanks for your advice, also the rest of the posters :) [http://woopidoo2.deviantart.com][Tip.it Moderator from Dec 10, 2006 to 03 Sep, 2008]

woopidoo2
I'm looking to get a camera, any suggestions? Yours seems quite clear. I suggest that you read something about photography first, and start with a compact camera. Need more replies people!
