August 15, 200718 yr The house an the tractor where taking from 2 differnt pics, and i added them together. Bakground sky was done by me, aswell as the lightning. I then finished it off with a black and white look, and added a border. Here i added sepia, to make it look like an old fashioned picture. As i was just really messing round and seeing what i can do, i'm quite pleased with the results. Any comments/CC?
August 15, 200718 yr I like it all, except for the lightning and the moon. The moon is to white and the shape is weird and the lightning is just...odd? The lightning in the sepia version looks better for some reason, but i like the over all effect of the b&w better. Other than that it looks really cool and i really like it. -All sigs by me.[My Gallery]
August 15, 200718 yr Author Thanks. Yea, the lighting was hard because i used lighting brushes for it but they weren't big enough to reach the bottom of the screen. So i had to get them as close as i could and manually connect them. And the moon is dodgy, because i made a cloud effect on a different picture, and but a circle selection over a part of it and copy and pasted, to try and make it look like clouds going past the moon. Then i had to delete some of the inside of the moon, which was a hard job because i needed to get it as smooth as possible.
August 16, 200718 yr Moon too sharp, the single lightning in front of the house should be a focal point and you should make it clearer.
August 16, 200718 yr Lightning never occurs in that consistency, it's usually sparsely distributed, especially in such a small area as the width of a house property. Also, the tractor looks badly cut out. It looks choppy round the back end. The moon could also use some refinement, and there's lots of black areas in the sky.

I have some better lightning brushes, which aren't as choppy, plus the moon is really choppy.
