Fastsest or decent way to 99 magic?

I have the money, just wondering whats the fastest way to 99 mage from 88.

I hear of some people using the mage arena in Al K for good experience. I don't know if you will gain/lose or break even with this method.

 

 

 

You could always high alch yew longs. That will make you a profit but probably take kinda longer. Definatly one of the more popular ways to train though.

 

 

 

Then you could try Pest Control. Now being a past PC user I know it gets boring as all hell but it is highly effective and it is by far the fastest way to train. Personally I wouldn't suggest this for anyone. I despise the new pc (with a passion).

 

 

 

Hmm, I also believe people use curse, but I think that is only to a certain level and then they use something else to 99, but it is something you could look into.

 

 

 

I have my own theory on training but it is very very expensive and I don't know if it will work. Ill let ya know though. Here is my theory:

Ice Burst/Barrage & MM Dungeon

 

Its more like a splinter theory created off of the range training method using chins. I figure, if you get an ancient staff, burst/barrage runes(burst in your case) and a load of p pots. Ah top and bottom. Best prayer bonus items in your other slots. Set up in the monkey madness dungeon, under a overhang near the skeleton monkeys and have yourself a ball : . I don't know entirely if that would work, but I will definatly experiment with it a little later after 99 def and 90 attack. [Thinking about it now, you could probably save some money on prayer pots and use blood burst/barrage. I am not entirely sure how this spell works but to my understanding it takes hp from an opponent and give it to the caster.][/hide]

 

 

 

(EDIT: It has been brought to my attention that this is not my theory and that it has been thought of/used before and it does in fact work. Thanks guy under me for breaking my hopes and dreams of ever coming up with a new way to train something effectively... )

Lol at ultimate, thats not your theory, people have been using that, yes its the fastest if you got the cash that or stunning.

Since the new themed world's came out you can now go to the castle wars themed world and get seom major exp right at the brigde that crosses the river...

 

 

 

I've been hearing of 200+ exp per cast with just the ice burst

 

 

 

Theirs so many people their that your hitting anywhere from 1 to 10 at a time

 

 

 

and if you max out with say 15 peeps and hit max on them all

 

 

 

ice burst = 22 (max hit) * 15 = 330 xp per cast

 

 

 

Any of the ancients that are a barrage or burst wil work and the higher the lvl of the spell the more exp you should get per cast....

 

 

 

Justlook for as many peeps piled togethor at once to cast it

you can also try alching steel plates (900 ea no prfit, 1k ea, 100 gp loss) or rune med (10k for them, get 1k, 11k for them, get almost no money)
