August 16, 200718 yr Well I'm a pretty bad pker myself, really bad at the art of pking. :oops: So I would like to know some mage pking tips. I already know its best on warriors with armour and things like that. I was just hoping somebody might be able to gimme a setup of armour to wear, equipment stats, what my inventory should look like or have, etc... Or just any good tips in general or any personal preferences would be nice to know. Thanks. :D I have 54 mage at the moment, getting ti to 59 so i can use fire blast. Thnx! August 16, 200718 yr I assume he's free-to-play, so full mystic won't really help him :-$ I'm not really a pker, but the fools who've attempted to kill me in free-to-play usually wind up giving me a battlestave of the rune they need more (battlestaves are non-members, correct?), an anti-dragon shield, and full black or full blue robes. Not much choice for mages in free-to-play, I'm afraid. EDIT: And don't forget the amulet of magic :) catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
August 16, 200718 yr Wear wiz hat, blue wiz robe top, monk bottom, a fire staff (or the staff of the spell that you are gonna use), a bunch of runes for the spell that you are going to use, and binds. Don't forget the mage ammy. Mages don't do so well alone so try to find a clan.

August 16, 200718 yr battlestaves aren't F2P. Magic is the worst way of pking in non-membs. The max damage is 16 and you have almost no defence. Only way magic is effective is if you are with a large team in deep wildy. Also, i suggest that you don't pk since you won't be able to get any kills with your stats where they are. (and you will probably get killed often since your hp is fairly low for your level)
August 16, 200718 yr wear a monk bottom for the pray bonus as you cant get a mage bonus for any bottoms. Personally I think mage is absolutely dreadful alone in f2p you need at least 1 friend to help you. Make sure you eat alot and if possible take a weapon to attack them when/if they take armour off.
