possible to mine addy in wild

so i have 70 mining and want to make money off addy ore so i ussually go to chasm mine but thats only 2 rocks so i look on mining sites and find one in the wild with 8 addy ores!!! so i go there i know there is hobgoblins i dont think much of it my combat lvl should take care of it..... but low lvl goblins att me and i cant mine why is that they can attack you while u mine but u cant mine while they attack you :wall: its quite dumb they should make it multi so you can mine even with 5 hobgoblins trying to hit you

 

 

 

so my question is, is it possible to mine there succesfully? and if not any other good places in f2p

 

 

 

also you should be able to summon a dog or something to chase monsters away from you :P (doubt it will happen though) -.-

The hobgoblins are your friend. They protect you against pkers. When the hobgolins are attacking you, pkers cannot.

 

Bring 2 lobsters and 3 itens (rune pl8 + rune legs + rune pick).

 

 

 

I used to make some pkers cry and get mad while trying to kill me when i was a miner there. Many have tryied, none have killed me.

 

 

 

You need to put auto-retaliete OFF and you will have no trouble to mine adamantite there.

 

 

 

Altought the animation stops, you can still hear the sound of mining.

 

Just be patient and ignore the hobgoblins for a while and you will get your ore for sure.

Actually, you can, and you do. I do it all the time, as that is my favorite place to mine addy, since the rocks are almost always spawned. It may not seam like your mining, but you are.

 

 

 

Just make sure you have auto ret. off. If you dont, then it wont work.

 

 

 

Also, another trick is to take a glory along if your p2p. Since glorys can teleport up to level 30 wilderness, you can basically teleport out right from the mines, without wasting a space for a teleport.

Also, take tele runes, probably to varrock.

Yes, you can actually mine there. You keep mining as the hobgoblins attack you. Just make sure auto retaliate is OFF. I'd also advise to take teleport runes to varrock since it also makes your trip to the bank much shorter. If you ever get 70 smithing, it's also usefull to bring nats and a fire staff and make your adamant bars on the spot. I've done this quite a while. Also, mining there is much safer than most people think. Hugging with the hobgoblins really protects you and if you bring teleport runes, the trip to safety is very short. There's no way you get killed if you know how to escape.

I'm F2p, and have superheated there before. It's not dangerous at all, and this is a person who's only 68 combat speaking. I just bring 5 lobsters, addy plate, addy legs, and a rune pick, and tele runes. I tele back once I'm done, and go back again.
