I thought about something that might be useful in runescape .

 

 

 

We all know the X feature thats used to enter amounts of money for trades , bank amount of an item etc...

 

 

 

This is the way i thought it could also be used in runescape :

 

 

 

Drop X amount for example : you have 28 unoted logs , Right click and select drop X ( rather instead of drop normal) a message window appears and you type the amount of logs you wish to drop , if you drop 1 you will still have 27 left , if you drop 27 you will have 1 left etc.

 

 

 

How can this help us while playing this game ?

 

 

 

Listen to this story ...Am power mining iron ores some where through out the world of runescape my goal is 85 mining and am currently 80 , i caculate the amount I need to mine and it turns out to be 36 thousand iron ores ...Now thats over 100 thousand mouse clicks i find that rather frustraiting to do .. Weather i could simply do this : right click first iron ore in inventory select drop X and type 28 and press enter and its done .

 

 

 

This feature can be used to do more stuff , like lets say your having a drop party and you wanna drop 10 full runes or what ever you have to keep banking and dropping , now with this you can just drop A noted item without having to bank all the time .

Please post your comments but no flaming , tell me why is this a good idea or why its a bad idea .
