What is all these different mage types i hear? vengance, ancients etc?

u have :

 

lunar mages: need to do lunar diplomacy quest

 

ancient mages( THE PWNEST): u need to do desert treasue

 

normal mages: nothin

 

 

 

thats all i know :-k

u mean the different spell books? u have to do certain quests to unlock the as it were eg. ancient magics = desert treasure

And what do they do? I've heard ancients is good? new spells or what?

EDIT nevermind I'm 1 prayer so can't dp priest in peril.

Members have access to two other Spellbooks (list of spells) that can be accessed after two different quests.

 

After completing Desert Quest, you can swap "Modern (normal) Magic" with the Ancient Magicks, and after completing Lunar Diplomacy members get access to Lunar Magicks. Vengance is a spell of the lunar spellbook.

 

Ancients have a huge emphasis on combat spells, and Lunar in aid spells.

that is true, but a lunar spell, after doing the second quest after lunar diplomacy (forgot the name -.-) you can cast a spell called spellbook swap. it allows you to cast one spell from a different spellbook.

i am not wrong, and for ancients, u can freeze, poison, lower stats and steal life so -.-
