Most of us don't know what the hell we're doing until we're forced to make a choice...Most doctors knew they wanted to be doctors from day 1 and worked hard at that. If you want to be a surgeon, prepare to dedicate 12 years to college, and study biology and chemistry now because it's all you're going to be doing then, too. Have fun? Which is why I told him it depends on how far he actually wants to go in life. I guess if hes pondering between being a comp tech or a plastic surgeon, I should have assumed that he wasn't being too serious about the latter.
