August 24, 200718 yr The 10 charges are for a special case where the mask lowers the enemy's defense (sort of like a spell that you cannot control). It is random. If you've ever had a Tribal Mask shield (not the mask, but the mask-shield)...it also has spells that auto-cast. The effect of the Black Mask is not lowered or altered by the charges left, but people are usually willing to pay a bit more for a fully charged Black Mask. Hope that helps. I myself chose to buy an uncharged black mask because I got it for 100k less and I only wanted the slayer advantage. "We will certainly not be gaining money or members with this update. August 24, 200718 yr 10 charges are random, for my first black mask it took me about 200 monsters to use up all the charges and my second black mask it took me about 600 monsters til i was out of charges. Quit. PM me if you play The Conduit to exchange friend codes.
