I was heading to the abyss to craft some runes, i had protection from MAGIC prayer on and somehow i got tele blocked and bound... and pkd. am i missing something?

the protect from magic pray just lessens the chance of magic atks hitting u. it doesnt make it impossible for pkers to hit u, just harder.

Yes it is, go to a monster that uses mage only and it will never hit you if you have protect from mage on.

 

 

 

and yes it is on top of your mage def.
