August 26, 200718 yr I have 800 iron plates, well 550 at the moment, but once I'm done smithing 1250 more iron bars, I'll have 800. What should I do with them?
August 26, 200718 yr I honestly think selling them to the plate shop or general store would be your best option. There aren't people willing to buy that many and if you alch you would lose profit. Note : if you make iron knives, people buy for 40-50 each, also im pretty sure its the same exp (may take longer) but you will make more profit.
August 26, 200718 yr if you alch you would lose profit. Not if the OP made them from scatch, then they'll get 1.2k for each platebody. Edit: I thought you meant steel plates, but it's probably the best way for iron ones also. RSN: Kingdom196.
August 26, 200718 yr Probably high alch it. Most people buy steel plates, not iron plates. Retired from runescape. I will be on every now and then though. :)
August 26, 200718 yr Seeing that steel plates alch for only 336 gp, it'll be very hard for you to sell them to other players. Either sell to a speciality shop, or ask a member friend to sell them for you at the charter ships. This signature is intentionally left blank.
August 27, 200718 yr World hop, take lower store prices and hop less, or sell in 5's and hop after each sale, though you'll lose a lot of time in world wait. You could also try camping at the Wilderness bandit camp store, as it pays specialist store prices and is unlikely to be overstocked. Problem thare though, is agressive bandits and PK multicombat, and world hopping increases the risk of running into a PKer. The other way to dispose of a large stock of something, is the trickle method, carrying 5 noted any time you go anywhere - the karamja store is a good place to dispose of a few items on every fishing trip, for instance - only general store prices, but never short of space and rarely any items that are not dumped monster drops.
