I think its just kind of rare but no one really uses it to train.

It's kind of neat cause it adds a quarter (25%) of what you hit to your attack, strength, and defense...boosting those stats temporarily. But currently there are only 2 area in the game where you could use it, the Mogre Camp from Recipe for Disaster, and a small part of Harmony Island from The Great Brain Robbery quest.

 

 

 

It's just a fairly rare drop from Brine Rats. (Killing 800 brine rats got me 2 brine sabres)

Its good for the reqs needed, but since its got the same stats as rune scimmy when you reach a higher level it becomes less powerful as other better wepons become avilable.
