You'd be better off just taking a piece of glass and making the lense. geesch Posted September 1, 2007 Share Posted September 1, 2007 yeah, its just a cut sapphire. wether this bothers you or not, im not sure, but i found using the sapphire lantern the light was kind of dim. i tried the normal lense and it was wayy brighter. it is definitely worth the time (which isnt much at all really, buy from charter people) to make a normal lense. Yes, indeed sapphire lantern doesn't bright too much, if you go to a cave with sapphire lantern and then with emerald/normal you will see that emerald/normal bright better so you can see more Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
