GamblingCamel
I will try to start this off with one of my main reasons on why Christianity is imaginary. The main reason I write this to you, is because I have a extremist Christian brother. Right now, he is staying at home (21) and doing little to nothing because he says God hasn't told him what to do yet. No job, or schooling. However, he always "breaks the hearts" of sinners and is "holy". However he still finds time to play Age of the Empires 2 for 4 hours a day. Why Christianity can't exist in my own words: Why won't God heal 'un-heal ables' (cut off legs etc.)? Atheist: "If you say that there is a God who can heal, why can't he heal amputees. The question is, why does there already have to be a chance for succession for prayer to work?" Christian1: "God works in mysterious ways, which we cannot comprehend or question." -A complete irrational excuse, they don't bother to think; just trust in a physics defying "God". Christian2: "Well you see, God would not want to manifest him self by bending space and time; it's as if you are forcing someone to believe." -Jesus showed himself to hundreds after he died. Also, in the Bible miracles are "performed" countless times. Christian3: "He can, and I'm sure hes done it. We just do not want to see the truth. Do you think a newspaper wants to report that? No, they live in darkness." -Irrational excuse to change the subject. Christian4: "He can, we simply do not have the faith." -Again, another irrational excuse to try to get of a tough question. Now, if you are a Christian; you are going to try to make up an irrational excuse to respond to this.

Barihawk
Flaming is a real good way to establish credibility for yourself in a "mature debate." Lionheart_0
Ya, cool it with the religious debate crap. I am an Atheist and I will say this. Leave them alone. They get enough crap from atheists already, and we get enough from them. Lets all live, believing what we want, and stop trying to fight over it. As for your brother, he is just being lazy. Edit: I'll add more in. Religion is good in some ways, and bad in others. Extremists are always present, which upsets balance, but besides them, religion can work wonders. It can turn bad people into people who will live honestly. It brings people together in some ways. As an atheist, we just see this as something we don't believe in so most atheists attack religions for it. Your the kind that give us a bad name. Sig by IkuraiYour Guide to Posting! Bubsa
Always hard to take someone's debate seriously when they refer to Christianity to that of the scourge of the Earth and all Christians are completely implausable. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
Kill_Life
Pointless... Just a way to flame people and their religion. If you don't agree, let it be, no need to flame them. If they are happy with it, there is absolutely no reason to flame them or seek reasons why it isn't the 'right' one. ~Kill Life "A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do"[Currently playing: K1ll L1f3]
assassin_696
We've got way too many religion/belief based topics flying around at the moment. If you really want stick this onto one of the current ones. Aside from that, I don't think all the flaming that normally ensues is doing this forum any good. Reasoned debate, fine, but it's not always that. Locked. "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"
