Ive NEVER played barrows buy i know kinda lot about it.

gimme tips for barrows (im poor so please make cheap tips....

get the slayer lvl 4 dart or use fire bolt and get 70 deff and wear full t no hammers and a unholy book you should beable to barrow easly like that

Definitely get 70 defence, but DONT use torags.

 

Torags is kinda pointless. I did Barrows endlessly with 70 defence, only using Rune, and i was fine.

 

 

 

I would however get 55 slayer for slayer dart. Its dramatically more effective then Fire Blast, and you get the runes back.

 

 

 

Also. If you have ancients, buy a Canfis portal in your house, so you can Telly Tab Home, charge pray, and speedily make it back to Barrows :D

If you use super def pot, you wont need to pray on the melee bros, that will save you some ppots. so you could do a trip with 1 ppot, and lots of monkfish.

Well i cant afford any full barrows, if i sell my 8,7k iron knifes and some st00f i maybe afford a veracs skirt and a barrows helm.

 

Are initiate good? well initiate boosts prayer but im worrying about the def bonuses :S

 

 

 

And i think slayer dart is the best and cheapest way to train barrowing.

 

Air runes and Mind runes are like so cheap and the spell hits like 10 times better than a wind strike :o

DONT use torag armour...in my opinion there isnt much difference between torag and rune for barrows since you will be prayer most of the time...yes by all means use initiate or other prayer boosting gear like proselyte. slayer dart uses one death and 4 minds...yea so pretty cheap and dont use any strike spells please if not u will waste a lot of ppots. for starters its not a good idea to use ancients straight away since "opportunities" to die at barrows is rather high...so for all the brothers except ahrim use slayer dart with prayer until u are confident enough to do torag, guthan and verac without prayer (in that order, as in first do torag w/o pray before moving on to the other 2) be careful with guthan since even with prayer he can heal on you although u wont take any damage.

 

 

 

ahrim may be a little trouble since your range is so low so perhaps it would be better to just melee him with dds spec and drag scim/long...if you recharge prayer after every run you should be able to use around 2 or at most 3 ppots per run...once you feel more experienced u can try using ancients on all the brothers which means u will just need one DOSE of ppot WITHOUT recharging prayer at any alter. it is indeed risky though since u will only be able to use ice burst on dharok but when i got ice blitz things were better and now with ice barrage i freeze him for 6 hits and usually am able to finish him off within the 6 hits...

 

 

 

good idea to bring along a friend for the first one or two trips ;) ive died twice there so far...lost around 1+M in all but hey ive gotten at least 50M from there...especially when they jus came out and the items were quite expensive
