nah even if souls are cheap you cannot cast more than one of these spells on a monster consecutively. you will have to wait a while before u can cast again. besides you wont earn anything by casting these spells so it will be a pure waste of money...used more on players...damage spells are better as you can get a good drop too...high alch/superheat are also good spells to train. although they dont inflict damage which gives u more magic exp, they are able to help u earn money...thats why ppl use them to train occasionally too. of course another way would be to use up cosmics at the enchanting room at mage training arena (the one near duel arena)

maxed out melee on 10/10/08, current goal: 94/99 cooking

life may be unfair, but why can't it be unfair in my favor?

my fake plant died because i forgot to pretend to water it

Can't you wear some melee armour, so that'll negate the mage bonus, while you miss the cast, you still get exp right?

Cursing is the hallmark of cheap magic training.

To curse train, wear FULL METAL armor, shield and all; you need the lowest possible magic attack rating. Using a mud staff allows you to cast Curse for cheaper, but you might run the risk of the spell succeeding.

Now, just pick a monster that can't reach you (higher magic defense is better) and go for it.

full rune with kite + mud staff+ soul runes + black dragons in taverly dungeon= tons of mage xp very quickly!

finally back in the game! send me a message, all my old friends quit

I laughed so hard I pooped my thong.

Equipment:

Full rune with kite

Mud staff

Bodies/souls

You can repeatetly cast the spell because it fails, but your still gonna get the xp for casting it.

Pretty much done with rs now

I have 9,4k body runes, need 18k waters :uhh:  (earth staff roxx)

Bodys roxx, cheap and good, i have 62 mage, to 82 i will need 71,976 bodys (712k) and 144k waters (1,4m) so thats around 2m to 82 mage :o

Cheapy cheapy.. :-w
