Bonus Posted September 12, 2007 Share Posted September 12, 2007 I'm going for 99 defence, without guthans. I'm poor, and I want to know this: Is a whip better then a d scim for defence training? Or, what is the best weapon for defence training? Would bandits be the best place for that? AND right now I only have 53 defence. :-\ Thanks. :) ~Bonus. davidium Posted September 12, 2007 Share Posted September 12, 2007 an economical method would be to get 60 magic and the bones to peaches spell from mage training arena. then camp at the destdevils inside the dusty well (need to have started a quest which i forgot). use a whip...its the fastest weapon for def ill say. i used this method till 99 def and was quite good...got around 2.5k rune arrows, 100+k fire runes and a quite a few other stuff. bring a chisel to cut and drop all the gems and dont forget face mask. maxed out melee on 10/10/08, current goal: 94/99 cookinglife may be unfair, but why can't it be unfair in my favor?my fake plant died because i forgot to pretend to water it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
chenw Posted September 12, 2007 Share Posted September 12, 2007 Whip is far superior to D Scim except for strength, so use Whip. Ditto on the Bones to peaches spell, they work wonders in there. The dusty well is only accessible after starting Desert Treasure until to the point that you know where all 4 diamonds are.
