September 14, 200718 yr Hi. My monitor is acting up, and colors aren't displaying right. I'm not sure how to describe this...hmm... For one example, runescape.com's dark brown color scheme is showing up as like a dark cyan-green color. Thanks for any replies. September 14, 200718 yr (Assuming you're using Windows XP) Right click on your desktop -> "Properties" -> "Settings" tab -> Make sure that your "Color Quality" is set to the highest possible setting (normally 32 bit, I think). That might help. Make sure you're running in true color and not high color mode.
September 14, 200718 yr Author Yup, it's 32 bit, true-color. Thanks anyways. Truthscape - qeltar's excellent insights into RuneScape and moreCave Story - Best Free RPG ever-Retired. Forever-

September 14, 200718 yr Post a screenshot, if it looks OK to us then it's your monitor/video card. If it's the same as you're seeing it'll be software related. If it does turn out to be video card/monitor related the only actions you can take are to replace each one one at a time to find out the problem via elimination. Software? It could be anything... Drivers, software you installed, settings, bugs... Etc. Notoriously Trollish.
September 14, 200718 yr Check the cord going to the back of your computer and make sure it is fully plugged in (if it is half out it can show weird colors). Try jiggling the cord and see if it makes a difference.
September 15, 200718 yr Author Software wasn't changed when I turned the computer and monitor off; the next time I turned them on, it was weird. Cords are connected nicely on both ends. Truthscape - qeltar's excellent insights into RuneScape and moreCave Story - Best Free RPG ever-Retired. Forever-
