Unoalexi
Heyah people, this- is my first attempt at doing sort of like a pixel background. Please rate it, review it, ect. and try not to be too mean. : Here be dragons ^ Dragon of the Day
terley
I think you could do with applying some perspective to this, have some of the trees smaller further into the distance to give this some depth. Very promising for a first pixel signature, you seem to of avoided a lot of the initial common mistakes and have acted on feeling free to add texturing and a wider use of the colour spectrum. You definately should continue with this, I personally think you could learn a lot. Keep it up :)
Smapla
The sun is a bit odd, and I guess what is bothering me is that there are no shadows for the trees. also, is that a river of lava? :o I remember when i made my first pixel signature, it was suggested that I make the surrounding ground (around lava) more yellow/red, because the lava is bright and lights up the ground. Moonshadow
The sun is pillow shaded, give the piece some ominous clouds, shade the trees a bit. But, otherwise, that is a pretty damn good pixel for a first try. Did you use the spray tool? Some pixelers consider that cheating :-$
Unoalexi
Thank you for all the comments! I revised it a bit- and yes, I might have used the spray tool a bit. So what do you people think of it now? zeuz5
try to blend the colors in the sky a bit so you dont see the line and work a little on the trees
pryomancer
Six puppies out of ten. Blend the sky and make the sun bigger. I think you've used the spray can tool reasonably well, as opposed to what we usually see.
