Hey guys, I've just started a skilling account, and I was just wondering how long it would take me to get from 1-99 Fishing by fishing certain types of fish:

 

Shrimps from 1-20

 

Trout from 20-40

 

Lobsters from 40-76

 

Sharks from 76-99

 

I will cooking everything along the way.

 

Any ideas?

Yes I suppose. Fishing has grown on me over time though, and I'm willing to give the skill cape a shot.

I'm really looking for money with this skill, seeing as it will fund a few others such as crafting, herblore and construction. But I could always go for the xp and just runecraft Natures until 99 runecrafting ^_^.

lobsters will earn u just as much as sharks

OK thanks. But in what way will lobsters earn me as much as sharks, if Cooked Lobsters can be sold for 200gp, and cooked sharks can be sold for 800gp?

 

 

 

Is it quicker to fish four lobsters than it is to fish one shark?

in a word yes.

 

 

 

Whatever level ur at you can fish lobsters at a rate that gives faster xp and near equal gp value to sharks

Sorry for once again hijacking someones thread ^.^ lol but i was just wondering i wanna level my fishing and im 59 atm, hsould i start fishing monks straight when i hit the level i can fish them?

Or you can do fly fishing at barbarian village and go to a pk world to give to beggars instead of dropping.
