N0thing_R34l
Hello again guys:) Well I am going from 82 to 99 ranged, and just wanted to make sure I got everything right before I started buying stuff: I will be killing fire Giants at the Waterfall thing (- how crowded is this place btw). I am a pure so i will NOT be picking up arrows, or drops since the FG just will hit me much. This means I will be using about 450k irons right? Will it be profitable for me to bring Telegrabs, so I can pick up some of the drops, and should i bring High Alchs too to alch the stuff I get? How much should I buy irons each - is 20 each a good price when buying that many? That's about all:) Thanks to everyone who answers:) N0thing R34l
jayc3399
Honestly, get avas acculator and cut your arrows in half. second you can pick up the drops after a while when the giants become unaggressive, so a chisle and alching runes is recommended. Dexek
It is crowded as you said, meaning that all all the giants will be under attack at one time or another. When you giant is dead simply run out, grab your arrows, the drop, and run back to your safespot. Nearly everyone at the Fire Giants is a pure, and they have no problem grabbing the drops, or their arrows. Some even think they should grab another players' arrows. So, stick with the idea of the iron arrows, but grab your drops, pick up your arrows. You will want high alchs, and teleport runes in your inventory. I myself take: Air Staff Laws Fire Staff Nature Runes Rope Glarils Amulet 2 Lobster Chisel With this I can high alch certain items, teleport out if needed, use up some of the runes on Air spells, cut my gems, and further cut them into bolt tips. The two lobsters are for safety if I lag, or to pass the agressive stage of the giants, but I rarely use them. I suggest alching Fire Battlestaffs, and mithril square shields only. Other rune drops can be banked, or used. Paying 20 each is a good price to buy iron arrows, as far as I am aware. Good luck, and I hope this helped. No because then I would need to complete a quest that gives prayer. But thanks for the other stuff:D
N0thing_R34l
Is it multi-zone? - and would it be a lot better if I am wearing Ranger Set?
elmo_killer6
Is it multi-zone? - and would it be a lot better if I am wearing Ranger Set? I'm pretty sure it's non multi. A ranger set would give better attack bonuses so yes it would help, but you'd be risking alot more.
N0thing_R34l
Hmm okay thanks.. But what I gotta do to get a new Glariel Amulet? And is there another good place, where you get decent drops (u can high alch or are worth a lot), where the only problem is picking up arrows, and you can stand at one spot all the time without dieing. I personally like training on hellhounds due to their clue drops, the only problem is they don't ahve any other drops. Theyre pretty easy to safespot in family crest dungeon except you might need to move a little.
