I was pixelling out a 2headed demon then i had the idea of a mage killing it. So I ddn't know what type of mage to make killing it so I made all 3 - guthix, sara and zammy

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So give some CC but the main thing I'm looking for advice on is shading, I'm not sure if this shading is quite right or not

I actually based it on the in-game demons look, they are quite skinny too, but thanks for the advice anyway

Their definately not that skinny, especially if they had two heads

I like em... the zammy mage (well the red one) eye is kinda funny... and the skull is too... but who am I to put you down? you did a good job... dont give it up

The demon feels a little to short, lenghten the body. Also I feel 1 tail would suffice but it's your demon :lol:

I really don't like the choice of colors for the earth wave(?). Also, the splotch of blood on the counter seems like its not in perspective, and not shaded. Same for the wall - shade it a bit? The torches should be giving off light, so there would be shade, wouldn't there?

they seem to share body from the waist down so one tail will do.

Myabe have the spell still being formed in the mage's hands, so it'll be clearer that he is casting a spell.

i don't like that divider that you have goign through there... and i like the... guthix? guthix mage the most... the colors are the best...

yeah thanks, So in this case should the sides be lightest and the front be darkest (look at the positions of the lamps on the wall)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Heres a question on shading though, if I have just a pic of a character with no obvious light source or background should i just make up a light source?

Absolutly! I make up lightsources all the time, no shame in it.
