Mamong
Well, I'm really looking to get a new graphics card in my computer. Currently, I have a Nvidia Geforce 5200FX and am looking for a new card. I don't want some super-duper 8800GTX, I'm just looking for some decent card that will run games like Quake 4, CS:S and Half Life 2 with no problems. I'm looking to spend between A$100-A$250(US$89-US$222). My motherboard is an AGP slot so there is no point suggesting a PCI-E card to me. Thanks. :D [Tip.It Mod][Retired][Add your Steam name here!]

Thats going to hurt you so I wouldn't spend too much on a card for it. This card is probably your best bet for how much you're willing to pay. Mamong
Yeah I know, I've seen some nice looking budget cards around but they are all PCI-E, so it has really limited my choices. That 7900GS looks nice, thanks for pointing it out, now to find one in the Aussie market. What is the Radeon X1950 like? I've seen that around, just near my price mark and was wondering what it is like. [Tip.It Mod][Retired][Add your Steam name here!]
JoeDaStudd
The X1950Pro is a great card for the money. Performance wise it will beat the 7900GS at stock speeds. If you are willing to overclock the 7900GS will win, but if you leave the speeds the same the X1950Pro is the better of the two. I own a X1950Pro (ECI-Express version) and can happily say the card will run all the games I have on at least medium, if not high to maxed out. The only failure I can find with the card is that my card (I seem to have got a bad one, ps I have checked and it is just my card) seems to get a little too hot for my likings). With either card you will need to check if your power supply will be able to handle the card. The x1950s are built to withstand more heat than others too. I own the 1950XT (which the pro version is based off of).
everhappy111
Yeah, X1950Pro is a great card. I also own one. With the Radeon X1950 series, your graphics performance will never be compromised. I can play all gaming all the time. Really great. Here is the deal I used, maybe some of you can try http://www.[Link removed]/searchdeals.php?deal_id=62765
