I'm a 100% free player, and I need a way to make steady money. I've put a bit of thought into this, and I've thought of a few ways to make money, but torture me at the same time : Getting materials, smelting steel bars then selling for a profit, and runecrafting airs (40 rcing). Obviously, Alching is always an option, but I can never find items that yield enough profit (buying from other players, buying the natures, and alching them myself). Alching seems like the easiest to me, and I looked at the tip.it high alch calculator, and it looks like alching green dragonhide pieces can yield a pretty good profit. But no one sells them at a price that can give me a profit. Bodies alch for 4680, and I tried buying them 4k, but of course, they go for 7k. Great. Pretty much the same deal with the other two pieces. Does anyone know of any ways to make money from alching, while buying natures at 300 each?

Woodcutting yews, rcing fires, pking (if your good at it) and merchanting are the only ones i can think of.

Go around world 1 and get use to item prices, then you can tell if someones selling cheap. You buy the cheap items and sell for a bit more than the average price, then you got some profit. Keep at this for a few weeks and you can make millions :D

Merchanting is your best bet for fast money, but I hate selling stuff, so I would go with skilling. Steel bars, coal, lobbies, yews, or whatever else you can think of. Personally, I like steel bars.
