first off make your account

 

 

 

use a name that shows you are a pure ranger

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

.::section one::.

 

 

 

 

 

once you are in tutorial island get 3 fishing and 3 cooking and 3 wcing

 

 

 

later on these will be very useful for money making and food.

 

 

 

once you get to the rat cage kill rats till 3 ranged :-w

 

 

 

now that you are out of tutorial island

 

 

 

wc till 41 wcing saving all your willows

 

 

 

by then you should have roughly 1k willows

 

 

 

sell your willows for 30k using the money to buy a pure set (green dhide chaps and vambs) for 7k-9k

 

 

 

next buy one of each short bow

 

 

 

then buy as many bronze arrows as you can for 10 gp each

 

 

 

now go to cows near hob goblins and crafting guild (south of fally)

 

 

 

and hide behind the fence while ranging cows

 

kill cows till 25 ranged this shouldn't take too long.

 

 

 

afterwards go fishing till 30 and get lots of salmon

 

do stronghold of security for 10k and bank the money

 

 

 

then take a little bit of food and go back to the stronghold of security

 

 

 

there are minotaurs on lvl one floor

 

i think they are south of the treasure room

 

 

 

go there and hide behind the fence while ranging them till 40 ranged.

 

 

 

 

 

.::section two::.

 

 

 

now that you are 40 range i recommend getting members

 

 

 

if not i recommend training on lesser demons

 

 

 

or start dragon slayer and go to the crandor and range lessers there

 

 

 

.:: section two-part two-members::.

 

 

 

now that you are a member and have pretty good stats for your level

 

 

 

you should be lvl 27 with 40 range and 50 wc and 40-50 fish and cook

 

 

 

you are gonna go to the rock crabs in fremmy train there till 50 ranged

 

 

 

(yes i know there are cannon noobs there but there is really nothing you can do about it lol)

 

 

 

now at 50 ranged go to the moss giants north of adrouge and train here till 60-65 range

 

 

 

now that you have 65 range you have three choices you can continue training

 

 

 

on moss giants

 

 

 

or you can kill giants near castle wars

 

 

 

for your last option you need to do a little bit of waterfall quest this should not take too long

 

 

 

and from there train on fire giants till 70 ranged =)

 

 

 

now you have a killer pure thats 48-49 cb with 70 range

 

 

 

from there on up you can kill fire giants or blue dragons in taverly dungeon

 

 

 

till 99 range i hope you enjoyed my guide

This is a bit outdated. The new shop update gives unlimited bronze arrows for i think it's 8 each, and if you buy from players it's lower.

As this is a guide about raising a specific Skill (Ranging) to 70, it belongs in the Player-Made Guides: Skills, Mini Games & Quests forum, where it is now.

 

 

 

However, it doesn't have much in the way of organisation or new content.

 

 

 

As a new forum member, please take the time to look around the forum and get to know what we expect from guides before writing one. If a guide did not take you hours and hours of research (not simply skill grinding) in the game, lots of obtaining and recording raw data, then it's generally not a good guide topic.

 

 

 

Also, there are probably some 99 range guides here already. It's better to contribute to an existing guide than start a new one.
