ClareJonsson
Okay folks, I do a lot of coding in dim light on my sofa, and I am looking for a good back lit keyboard. The keyboard is required to be the standard QWERTY with number pad. Oh and is had got to be wireless. Does anyone have something like this so far? If so would you recommend it? I was waiting for that OLED Optimus one, but I don't think that will ever see the light of day (So to speak). [Assist-X]

ClareJonsson
Heres a few; Keysonic one-̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã25.91 Microsoft's one -̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã32.30 Logitech one -̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã108.09  Thanks for that, I will probably go down the Keysonic route. The Microsoft one requires you to have the MCE Remote sensor thing to work, and I don't really want to buy one of them too. The Logitech appears to be one of them Dock on the desk re-chargers and I want the keyboard for when I am coding in dim light on my sofa. I wonder if the logitech takes rechargeable batteries, hmm I might look into that one too. [Assist-X]
Doomster
Looking at http://www.nanopoint.co.uk/en/pages/pro ... boards.php - the link given for Keysonic from Ebuyer, it doesn't look like this is wireless. Problem with illumination on a cordless, it vastly increases the power used when not actually transmitting keystrokes
das1330
aside from having no number pad, the dinovo edge is a great keyboard. It is a keyboard that you dock to recharge, but if you don't want to the lithium ion batteries last about two weeks of heavy use without a recharge. Its actually the keyboard I have, and if your coding from the sofa, the laptop-like touchpad will come in handy. Plus, its a beautiful keyboard. darkblade986
Depending on what you use for your computer, you could possibly get an independant number pad. I know my mother has a USB one for her laptop, but I don't know what brand it is (Logitech I think). It's not backlit, but if you're any good at typing, the number pad is second-hand typing and could be done without a glance. If not, you might instead consider a cheap alternative to be a booklight that you could just attach to the top of your computer screen (if you're using a laptop or something, that is). don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?Officially reached 100 Combat at 1:33PM EST, June 14, 2007First Dragon Drop: Dragon Chain (Dust Devils) @ 10:48PM EST, July 14, 2008, lv113 combat

Looks like this is what I am going to get, I just gotta wait for a cheque for my last web project to arrive, but we're having backlogs due to a postal strike at the mo, so I gotta wait :( [Assist-X]
