pest control planner calculating wrong xp!!!

don't know, whether this topic has already been posted, since the search function is disabled, but it drove me so crazy now after 3 times getting 100 points and exchagning them and NOT getting the expected XP from the pest control planner that i had to post it here now.

 

 

 

here just an example:

 

my current attack XP is 147501, which is level 53;

 

after hitting tip me! without filling in any pest points, the table at the bottom correctly writes level 53 under new level and 147,501 under new xp.

 

 

 

when looking at the point distribution settings table, under attack it says i'd get 468xp each, which is wrong! (my level 53ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâò/600=4.68.. > 4*35=140 is correct, and this is what the void knight offers me!)

 

 

 

the same with the other skills... :wall:

 

strenghth: 138334 (lvl 53): tip it! says 468xp, 140 is right..

 

defence: the same...

 

ranged: 20410 (lvl 34): tip it! says 192xp, 32 is right..

 

prayer: 11332 (lvl 28): tip it! says 65xp, 32 is right...

 

..and so on... :evil:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i would love it to be the way the tip it! pest control planner calculates it, but unfortunately, it is obvously wrong and ruins one's hopes & expectations when starting pest control in order to increase some levels and pre-calculating the results using the pest control planner....

That's because it still uses the old formula.

This fix has been on our to-do list for a while now. I'll see if I can't get it bumped up a few pegs, but it might be that the formula doesn't have an immediately recognizable pattern (don't know personally; haven't done Pest Control for a while).
