I have read that i can only get tubers from the shop (which is always out of stock), or from clearing the jungle. i keep hacking away at the jungle but to no avail. Can anyone tell me how often these things come around or should i give it up as a bad job? Or maybe you know of an easier way to get my hands on one. Thanks in advance for any help offered

They appear verry little

 

you need a spade to dig them up (I didn't know that, so I had to go to the shop and luckely no-one else passed by because else they would have gotten it)

The tubers only have a chance of appearing once you hack a piece of jungle all the way to the ground, as in you cannot cut from that piece anymore. You also need a spade to dig it out.

 

If you already knew all that: Tubers are quite rare, I suggest you just keep at it or buy one for 150k (not too sure on price)
