Logs for fire making.

Hello, I want 99 fire making, and Im cutting all of my logs for it. Atm I have 60k willow, and about 4k maples.

 

 

 

Would it be faster to cut maples, and burn, or cut yews and burn?

 

 

 

 

 

And I have 99 wood cutting and 84 fire making.

If you already have 99 Woodcutting, just buy Willows from the General store and burn them. Doesn't this method still exist?

Yea, but I wanna cut my logs, and I kinda dont want to do willows the whole way.

those 60k willows will get you to about 94 fm from there is about 55k willoes or 36k maples so i would go with mapls myself if i had to get 99 fm again

go with maples. yews are usually crowded and pretty slow.

Heres some math, if your interested =p

 

 

 

Lets say that your willows get you to *exactly* 99 FM (around there)

 

 

 

You would need either:

 

 

 

37,703 Maples

 

OR

 

25,135 Yews

 

 

 

This would get you:

 

3.8M WC Xp

 

OR

 

4.4M WC Xp

 

 

 

Thats about a 600k xp difference, but you cut about 12K less logs if you go with yews.

 

 

 

If I were you, I'd go yews + maples from MTK.

Cutting maples is really slower than willows if you want the wc-fm way. Either willows or yews for me. Only consider yews if you are p2p though.
