Melee'ing blue dragon guide

Featured Replies

This is my own guide on killing blue dragons with melee. It̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s simple, good money and decent melee experience and little money is required.

1: Where are blue dragons?

2: Requirements.

3: Equipment and inventory.

4: Killing spots.

5: Banking.

Where are blue dragons?

There are two spots where blue dragons lay. Gu̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢tanoth dungeon and Taverly Dungeon.

Ok, we̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll start with Taverly Dungeon 1st. The entrance to the dungeon is located west of Falador, where these is a red ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅI̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

Nice guide, blue drags look quite profitable.

Personally i'd weild the duelling ring and not take a dds, for 2 extra spaces.

And wouldn't a rune plate/fighter torso be better than d hide top?

9/10 Great help, add ranged tho might be good xp there. Thanks

Saradomin gwd drops: 6 Ss, 2 hilts.

VERY NICE, well done guide. 8/10 I suggest...

BIGGER TITLE FONDS USING NUMBERS

Use fighters torso as it is much better.

Don't bring weaken, its kinda pointess. Also, I usully like to take some more "junk" food, to make sure I can fill my invent.

Dungeoneering isn't a skill.

I'm faster than bots at Sorceress Garden.

PM me if you want to chat. My PM is always off.

My keyboard is on fire. Want some?

Great guide, a few things you missed though, on both methods.

TAVERLY-

If you use charged glories, you can tele to Edgy to bank then home tele to Taverly. Recharge prayer there too if desired. You could also bring along a fury and double home tele runes if you have a glory on your wall.

THE OTHER PLACE (I can't spell it, :XD: )

Watchtower/Home tele (Yanille) to speed things up.

You can use a torso/rune plate if you like

you can also bank at yanille. there are doors on the west side you walk straight through all the way to the bank

Oh, anotehr thing, USE A D HALLY

Although you cant put the shield on, just safepot the dragon for the specials.

I am lvl 97 and I find it difficult, in the past, to truly stay in there long enough with 20 lobster in my inventory. I find that I have to teleport much earlier than filling up my inventory with D Bones and Hides melee'ing. Unless you have 99's in stats this way is unadvisable. Ranging/Hallying from safespot is a much more convenient way to do this. You don't have to bring food, and you don't have to keep a lookout on your health.

Obviously, this is a guide for melee'ing, but just wanted to warn those that want to melee: it is a bit difficult and will require monks or sharks to keep up with the damage taken. AND, 70+ agility = pwnage. You waste like 3-5 minutes getting there, while getting there through pipe (with 70 agility or 67+agility pot) takes like 2 seconds hehe...
