I know I promised to not always use the Red-ish fire color in my scenes, but man.. it looks so nice with red :oops: But anyways, i swear the next one will be at least blue or green :shock:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My goal was to try and get a "slightly" more realistic, or realy, just better looking nebula. Bigger space scenes have always been a bit tough (although, this is still somewhat small) because you have alot more room to fill, and you cant just get out of it easily.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Anyways, I spent quite a few hours on this. I brushed the nebula's in a way different way then i usualy do as well. Usualy i'll do a big thing of brushing, and than mess with layer styles for the whole thing. This still has layer styles in it , but a good majority of it comes from the brushing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I also dwelled in messing with the Adjustment layers. I found them alot easier to use and manage than just copy merged+paste and change the hue/ballance. :oops:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So what do you think? I didn't want to add planets because i thought they would ruin it. Plus I don't realy like my planets.

i dont know much/anything about space scenes but.. that wouldnt be that hard would it? just find a couple appropriate brushes and brush around?

i love astronomy and i love sapce. so i study nebulas and such. but i dont think nebulas arent that bright :shock: . but it is nice that you put that indent in the middle to indicate where the star collapsed. the reason its so hard to fill in is because its space :D space is infinite. but what are those grey blobs i see?

Yeah i was mostly just trying to work on nebulas, it was an experiment, but i thought it looked good enough to show. :)

Make a Supernova. I love supernovas!! Or maybe a galaxy?
