My Video's Keep Going Weird!

Featured Replies

Hi, I've experienced this before, when a video im watching instead of being normal colours turns to colours I'd expect to see if it had a random hue or negative effect. I've just tried editing one of my videos and now it's doing it again!

Any ideas to what it could be?I'd REALLY appreciate it. I thought it could've been resolution but im not sure #-o

[i'd include an image but i can't printscreen WMP :x ]

Have you tried re-installing you video card drivers?

It may be your video card overheating or malfunctioning.

Have you tried playing the video in another video player? Do other videos work? What are your system specs?

Download VLC player and see if your videos work there

Windows media player may just be rendering the video wrong because of a bad codec. You can download a codec pack that may fix it. Download from here

Uh, K-Lite Codec Pack is not the best one to use. I've actually seen a comparison between it and CCCP (Combined Community Codec Pack). K-Lite came out ugly. So I would suggest to SaradominsServant that they go to http://www.cccp-project.net/, and get the CCCP. I'm using CCCP, and it helps a lot. Haven't had a video go wrong on me yet. :)

(BTW, there are no russian puns here, even though the CCCP's non-russian authors liked making one.)
