No, the real reason is because I'm a business major in college, and one of the things most people in business should learn is a second language. Unfortunately my college does not offer any second language courses, and I'm poor as hell. Since you live in the US, try Spanish instead. Not to mention it's easier to learn compared to Japanese. And if you want to learn Japanese for business, wouldn't it be more reasonable to learn a Chinese dialect instead?

What's so illogical about America's immigration practice? America does not exist as a refuge for Mexico's impoverished people. Even though illegals cannot apply for gov't help, they still put a dent on the health care. Hospitals are legally required to take care of everyone that goes through the emergency room, legal or not. Not to mention things like accidents where the illegal will not have insurance. What will the state do? Imprison them and lose even more tax dollars feeding them?
