  1. We've gotten about 3 to 4 inches of snow, but most of our last "storm" ended up being hail and ice. ._. I think there was about 1/4 of an inch of ice covering my car yesterday.
  2. Ah, the joys of families with small children in fast-food restaurants. As a customer at a fast-food place, whenever there are little children about, they drive me *insane*. Parents let them run wild.. they cry.. they get their way.. if they don't they scream bloody murder.. I dunno which is worse, listening to them at a McDonalds or listening to them through the checkout line. @_@
  3. Ahem. I completely agree with you and this is what I've been feeling. It's almost like there's now a war between players and that's the last thing we need is people fighting each other. It was also one of the reasons why I didn't play for about three days was because of the "atmosphere" of the place if you want to call it. (Of course.. catching up with finals and such was another. but meh.)
  4. My best friend had that happen with his 360 too, it's not anything to worry about I assume. I think its just because of some first-run-power-failures that might happen, if there's something wrong at first with the 360 <-> AC Adapter <-> Outlet. I'd feel bad for all the kids in the world though in 12 days that have excitment pumping through them at 8PM on Christmas Day, they plug their 360 in, and it does that :P Those poor kids.. all excited. And then, it dies. My brother's friend said his lasted about a year before it got it. About the same of ours. Well, maybe after we get ours back from Microsoft, maybe we won't have that problem again. Hopefully.
  5. If your mom's a nurse, then I'm sure she knows what she's talking about. I'd still keep an eye on it to make sure nothing drastic happens.. I would hate for you to suddenly get something. o.o
  6. He might've been speeding, but since you got into his lane and into his way, then it'd be considered your fault. That's unfortunate, though, that you had to be driving your girlfriend's car though. Hopefully they can accept the fact that you're willing to pay the money back to them. If not.. well.. what else can you do? Just keep saying sorry?
  7. That's pretty sad about the girl. Better not skip down the hallways or you could get the death sentence. >.> This reminds me of a story I heard about maybe a year or so ago.. apparently this 8 year old apparently "harrassing" this girl. If I remember right, he was smacking her on the butt and stuff. Well, they called in the parents because the girl's parents complained and they made the kid sign a sexual offender form. >.>
  8. Sounds like the owners were absolute jerks. o.O And what a great idea of a thread. I work in the Customer Service area.. so I know all about the grumpy people. Last night, we had a lady going through the check-out line. Apparently she had called in and talked to the other Service Desk person who was working with me at the time. He had said that we might have Christmas stamps, but we've been running out of them. Well, she comes in and while she's checking out, asks to buy two books of Christmas stamps. (Where I work at, we can sell books of stamps through the checkout lines). The cashier said she wasn't sure if she had Christmas stamps or not, but the lady said I'll buy them anyway, but they better be Christmas! Needless to say, with our luck, we were out of them. Of course she's usually griping about stuff.. and we had warned her. Well, then she was like "WELL I WANNA RETURN THEM!" And then, we were ripping her off because we charged her 50 cents more for some pears. @.@ I'm sure I'll have more stories after work tomorrow. =P
  9. Wow. Have you gone to your doctor to get it checked out to make sure it hasn't been infected?
  10. Unfortunately, two Fridays ago.. our 360 died. We got the infamous Red Ring of Death. Considering how this is our first owned 360 and it lasted about a year and two months.. I thought that was pretty good. Still stunk that it died like that though. We've had it shipped out and everything to get it repaired. I'm just curious, for the people owning 360s.. how long have you had your 360 before it gave the Red Ring of Death or has it not given one at all?
  11. Work. x.X This Saturday.. deal with my brother's birthday party. About 12-15 teenage boys in the house on Mountain Dew. Helps... Sign up for classes next semester.. Enjoy being able to be lazy and not feel bad about being lazy. ^^
  12. I personally wouldn't want a chip inside of me. I guess the privacy thing bugs me.. but also knowing that there's a computer chip floating inside my body too is kinda creepy. o.O Plus I'd think it would hurt.. but then again, I hate to feel any pain. I'm a baby. :P Heh.. I like paying everything with my debit card.. seems no matter how hard I try.. I always tend to lose a dollar or two everytime I got cash on me. xD
  13. Started out the year with not going back to college.. went to work full-time. At work been upgraded to being on Service Desk almost permanently.. and then transferred to being Service Coordinator (I work in retail. Yay. >.>). Both a good and bad thing. Summer was the greatest. Nice warm weather.. Brickyard 400.. got to see Jeff Gordon's car up close AND got to be seated behind his pit stall.. (I'm a big Jeff Gordon fan. <3). Also got to go to the Bristol Motor Speedway and got to stand about 10 feet away from Richard Petty. Yayness. Fall.. went back to college. Didn't work as much because of work. Nothing too much as far as I can remember.. And now.. passed two of classes.. failed the other (economics just bores me.. second time trying to take the class.) And plus NASCAR season is over for the year so I'm bored. But I can't wait for next year for everything. ^^ I have a feeling it's gonna be a good year.

    Quitting?

I don't plan on quitting anytime soon, but everytime now I log onto my account to play.. I just get.. meh. It's hard to play when the game is starting to become twisted. I like focusing on skills so I never PKed (in the wildy anyway.. plus I'd stink at it. My brother even told me so. :P) or staked. The wilderness change hasn't bothered me that much, but I feel like because of all the changes.. the atmosphere in the game has became much more unsettling. Jagex's intentions for the updates were all very good, I'm just afraid that they did it all the wrong way. They did it way too fast, didn't let people adjust slowly (and sometimes people need to adjust slowly. They can adapt, but not as quickly as others). And the fact that the rants are still going fairly strong even in the fourth day of the updates tells something. But the main point is, I'm not quitting anytime soon. =P I'm waiting it out and see how it is.
