October 30, 200718 yr In order to get into a alter you must have either the talisman, or the tiara with you, unless you are using the abyss. When it gives you a direction, that is just pointing you to the alter.

October 30, 200718 yr The talisman can be used to access air,earth,water,fire altars, it cannot be made into a tiara. Obviously yes to Q2. Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.
