First time I seriously made something with paint :D

 

 

 

Please give me your opinions and how I can make progression?

It looks pretty unique, I like your style.

 

The shading is on the right places, and it still looks cartoony.

 

 

 

The axe and the book could use some improvement though, and it looks like the book sticks out of his belly :)

 

Maybe you could make it look like he has the fist-shape when he holds the axe.

I agree with Woopidoo2, it is a unqiue style. :)

 

 

 

Though the axe, book and boots certainly need changing. And possible the gloves (I can all but assume he has small hands :P). :-w

 

 

 

Overall, a good job. :)

OK thanks allot for comments, I'm gonna get some sleep and maybe change the hands tomorrow, I didn't really have an example for the hands, look at the screen shot the fist is under the arm. :XD:

The book definitely needs to be fixed. It looks like it's just floating there in front of his stomach. Chop off the bit that goes past the outline of his torso and it should be good :) . Oh, and the right hand could be beefed up a bit.

Ahum... I only used Paint (the regular windows XP version, still the same as windows 95 to me :wink: )

I combined all the stuff myself tough, I also posted this outfit in the great character show on the general discussion forum, hope you didn't the same :

Newer version, the 'hand update' was quite hard to me, and I'm not even sure it looks better now :-k.
