I am in the jail and I can get out, but I dont know where to go after that and how to not get recaught. Help please.

when the guard isn't nearby, pick the lock and run west, when they are changing shifts run up and out of the jail north into the tall grass.

I did that, btu it is very vague as to where to go once you are out of jail.

I'd advise that you open the tip.it quest guide if your that stuck.

 

 

 

As for get out of jail you have to picklock your jail door and follow the gorilla guard then exit the building while they swap over.

 

 

 

Head behind the building into the tall grass to be "safe"

 

 

 

From there theres assorted gnomes to find etc

He's far east south of the giant building with the monkey guards and altars in it east of the building with the monkey leader dude

I have read the guide ten times, it still is way too vague. I go into the tall grass to the north, then where?

Try using another quest guide like RuneHQ or Zybez. I personally think many of the guides on Tip.It are a bit vague in general. I like my step-by-step dummy-proof guides :).
