Lets_3ekout
Tip it does not claim perfection on that calculator, so I don't see what's the problem. It's a rough but accurate to a nice ammount estimation. If you know the exact formula for max hits, please sure, though I doubt you have it, if anyone does. This belongs in website corrections, though it is very difficult to correct with the help of Jagex. However, you should never put complete trust in any site for every aspect of a game. The most reliable information you will ever find is that you personally find. Omali
....the max hit calc isn't perfect, considering Tip.It is going off of a guess when it comes to how Jagex's algorithms are processed. There's nothing to discuss, you're complaining because a fallible system turned out to be just that, fallible.

Please note that this calculator isn't completely accurate right now. It tends to return values that are a little higher than they should be. Therefore, if the value returned seems a little higher than it should be, please do not report this to us. We are aware of this problem. Laikrob
Moved to correct forum. Laikrob, Tip.It Moderator You're accusing me of bigotry, how ironic. It's a nice attempt at argument, but your responses are facile and asinine, if not diatribe. Who's arrogant now?

All_Bogs
Yeah, you hit 71 and it states 69, that sure is 5 or 6 higher :( Anyway, honest, we're trying. It's just that the "magic max hit formula" was cooked up by people who worked for or with this site some years ago, and I don't even know where they got it from. We get plenty of reports about values being a bit too high, and just about as much as them being a bit too low, with no apparent pattern, either. So unless the folks at Jagex decide to spill the beans on their max hit formula, there's not much we can do. That being said, the "it's not perfect" message could use some updating :P it's obviously not just higher values that's returned.
